Miami has a very unique way of reminding you that you are not dressed lightly enough and probably need a cafecito. The heat welcomes you as soon as you hop off the plane, the music immerses you as you walk the streets, and somehow everyone looks like they are either on their way to a boat party or starring in a music video.

My favorite part of the trip, though, was definitely the FIFA Fan Fest. I got to watch my brother-in-law, PJ McGinnis, take the stage with Miami's own, Cris Cab. And yes, I was taking too many pictures and dancing like no one was watching that I momentarily forgot about the heat. They captivated the crowd with their new single "Paradise," and emotionally transported us back to 2016 in the best way possible.

You know what I mean: it's the kind of song that becomes your summer soundtrack. The one that makes you want to roll the windows down, get sun-kissed, make outdoor plans with your friends, and pretend that your only responsibility is deciding where to go after a beach day. That's the vibe. It's warm, nostalgic, fun, and dangerously addicting - the kind of anthem that plays over a montage of your summer memories.
